I recently went to a Yoga class, which absolutely kicked my butt... we ended with a relaxing meditation where we were supposed to only "focus on what was pertinent right this second, empty your mind". My mind raced for a bit.....work sucks, I just got dumped by Teach for America..... I have no clue what I'm doing with the rest of my life..... I have to finish laundry.... Be a good husband..... I want to hear some music..... And then I stopped, what is pertinent right now? God, that is it. That is all... Ever!
